321 stainless steel is known as stabilized grades of stainless steel, is Chromium nickel steel containing titanium. The real difference is their carbon content. Stainless Steel 321 Plate is a standard austenitic 18/8 chromium nickel alloy with the addition of Titanium making SUS321 Plate an excellent choice in elevated temperature environments. The titanium stabilizes the material removing its susceptibility to the effects of intergranular corrosion.
